ORDERING


How long will it take to receive my order? 

Local orders within 7km of our venue are delivered between 2pm – 5pm, Wednesday to Saturday. If you order by 12pm you can expect your order the same day, by 5pm. If you order after 12pm, you can expect your order the following day between 2 – 5pm.

Interstate: 

Deliveries further than 7km away, or to regional or interstate metro areas, are shipped through Australia Post, which will typically take 3 – 7 days.


What do I do if I'm having problems checking out?

Can I cancel or change my order? 

Changes and cancellations can be made prior to 12pm on the shipping date. Please call us on (02) 9211 1556 or email hello@ourgoldenage.com.au to process this. Once an order is shipped it cannot be cancelled. 


Can I return or exchange something? 

All items are non-refundable, non-exchangeable and non-returnable. If an item has been damaged in transit you will be provided with a replacement on the next delivery date.


I don't like buying online. Can I order over the telephone? 

Why call when you can come in and see us! We’re open Wednesday to Saturday from 1pm – 5pm for walk-in orders. Unfortunately, we cannot take orders over the phone.


Can I place an order from overseas? 

Yes, if the delivery is within Australia. 


What is the minimum order amount? 

$25. 


I'd like to send my items as a gift. How does this work? 

Simply enter the name & address of the recipient in the delivery section when checking out. If you want a message included, please indicate this in the notes. Just ensure the recipient will be home, it won’t ruin the surprise but it will ensure they get one! 


Can I do a recurring order 

This feature is not currently available. 

 

DELIVERY


How do I know if my order has shipped? 

You will receive an email confirmation that your order is fulfilled and on its way to you. For interstate deliveries, an Australia Post tracking number will be provided, but you can always call us if you have questions! 


What do I do if I need to change my shipping information? 

Call us on (02) 9211 1556 between 11am – 5pm or email us at hello@ourgoldenage.com.au. Changes must be made prior to 12pm on the nominated delivery date.


To what areas do you deliver? 

Local delivery is to areas within 7km of our Surry Hills venue. Regional NSW and interstate metro areas are also available to select, but are not valid for same-day delivery.


How long will my delivery take? 

Local: Orders are delivered between 2 5pm, Wednesday to Saturday. If you order by noon, you can expect your order the same day, by 5 pm. If you order after noon, you can expect your order the following day between 2 5pm. 

Regional & Interstate: Shipping through Australia Post typically takes 3 – 7 days.

Do you deliver to offices and workplaces? 

Yes! Please ensure you provide detail on the workplace or building so our couriers can locate you with ease.

How much does delivery cost? 

Local: $5 flat rate within 7km. Free shipping for orders over $100.

Metro: $15 flat rate. Free shipping for orders over $150.

Interstate: $15 flat rate. Free shipping for orders over $150.

 
Do I need ID to receive the delivery? 

Our couriers & staff reserve the right to ask for ID if they suspect you may be under 25.


Can the driver contact me on arrival? 

Yes, for local deliveries you will be asked to provide an email or phone number when you make your order. Please provide both so that we can send email confirmation and call on arrival. 

 
I need a last-minute delivery, how does this work? 

If you are local, all orders for same-day delivery need to be placed by noon. If not, you can pick up in-store or send an Uber and give us a call.  

 
What happens if a bottle breaks during delivery? 

Oh no! We will send you a replacement on the next available delivery date (excluding Sundays).

 
What if no one is home when you deliver? 

Local: We will call you at the number provided to determine if there is a safe place to leave your order. If not, we will keep your order safe l until a better delivery time can be arranged. A second delivery fee will be applied.

Regional & Interstate Metro: Australia Post will leave a calling card or text message for you to pick up at your local post office. 

 
Do I have to sign for my order? 

Yes, someone at the residence over 18 years of age will need to accept your order. 

 
Can I redirect my delivery order if I'm in quarantine? 

Yes, call or email us to advise of a different address or just let the driver know to leave it outside the door as we have contactless delivery by default. 

 
Can I get a more specific time for the arrival of my delivery order? 

You will be provided tracking information via email to keep an eye on your order’s progress. 

 
What is the expiry date on the cocktails? 

Negronis and hard liquor cocktails will last up to two weeks in the fridge. Southsides, Margaritas and other cocktails containing perishable ingredients like lime juice will last up to 3 days in the fridge after opening, or 7 days unopened.
